Basketball Recap: The Forest School Comes Up Short

The Forest School managed to keep up with Covington Academy until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Forest School Phoenix had to suffer through a 68-36 loss at the hands of the Covington Academy Bulldogs. The Phoenix's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

The Forest School's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Covington Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

The Forest School and Holy Ground Baptist Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Covington Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-50 defeat against Young Americans Christian on the 13th.
