Soccer Game Preview: Custer vs. Hot Springs

The Custer Wildcats will challenge the Hot Springs Bison at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Custer's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a proper cat-fight when Custer faced off against Freeman Academy on Saturday. The Wildcats lost 8-0 to the Bobcats.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Hot Springs' offense. They came up short against West Central on Saturday, falling 5-0. That's two games in a row now that Hot Springs have lost by exactly five goals.

Custer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hot Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Custer couldn't quite get it done against Hot Springs in their previous meeting back in August as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
