Football Game Preview: Boerne Greyhounds vs. Ray Texans + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Grant Sweeney and Tripp Thompson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Boerne Greyhounds will face off against the Ray Texans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boerne will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Boerne is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Tivy: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Greyhounds blew the Antlers out of the water with a 62-35 final score. Considering the Greyhounds have won five contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Beau Dayoc had a dynamite game, picking up 86 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 86 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

Boerne was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 330 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Boerne didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kole Traylor and Hadden Silva.

Meanwhile, Ray was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 35-31 to Miller. The loss continues a trend for the Texans in their meetings with the Buccaneers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Boerne will have to contain Huzefa Ullah as he made an impact in Ray's last game. He picked up 128 receiving yards and two scores.

Boerne's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Ray, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
