Baseball Recap: Lowell Comes Up Short

Lowell has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.1 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 10-4 to the Greenville Yellow Jackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Red Arrows have suffered since April 1st.

Nathen Raison made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Owen Dennings, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Lowell's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9-1. As for Greenville, they moved to 18-15 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

While Lowell had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
