Fans got a thrill when Patrick Miller and Evan Talbert connected against Desert. The connection went for 90 yards, the longest such play in Freelance this season.

Mission Prep moved up to 251 from 278 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Royals were able to move up by defeating the Scorpions 51-30.

Mission Prep's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Miller threw for 208 and 2 touchdowns and Talbert had 192 yards receiving. On the ground Patrick Laird chipped in 258 yards. Laird helped Mission Prep's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 16 yards.

Chad Henry's team's dynamic duo of Miller and Talbert proved to be unstoppable against Desert, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Laird helped Mission Prep's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 16 yards.

Laird was a force in the backfield as the Royals topped Chris Hinton's team.

Laird was a passing and rushing force as Mission Prep beat the Scorpions. Laird's favorite target this week was Talbert, who caught 6 passes for 192 yards.

He was 7-13 with 0 interceptions.

5-foot-8 quarterback Rex Rover of Xavier Prep is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,061. He has also thrown 28 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Aaron Gibson. The Firebaugh star has 36 catches for 689 yards.

The Royals took down Desert 51-30 last week, the largest margin of any game. Laird ran for 258 yards during the win.
