There's no place like home for Sarcoxie, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the East Newton Patriots 3-0 on Tuesday. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Sarcoxie walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-21.

Alexis Letts paced Sarcoxie's offense, picking up 15 kills. Letts got some help from Jordyn Misner and her 13 assists. Finally, Letts was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high seven blocks.

Sarcoxie's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1. As for East Newton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coming up, Sarcoxie will face off against Cassville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Newton, they will take on Pierce City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
