Volleyball Game Preview: Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats vs. North Jackson Chiefs

The Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats will venture away from home to square off against the North Jackson Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Westminster Christian Academy took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Payne. Westminster Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, North Jackson also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to New Hope by a score of 3-1. The Chiefs haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

North Jackson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-13.

Westminster Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for North Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Westminster Christian Academy took their win against North Jackson in their previous meeting back in October of 2015 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
