Baseball Recap: Eight Straight Road Wins for Saint Francis

Saint Francis won against Archbishop Riordan last Tuesday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Lancers never let the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. That nine run margin sets a new team best for the Lancers this season.

Saint Francis got a great performance from Nick Chow as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Chow has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Henry Dommer, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tanner Wall, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Saint Francis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory only managed two hits.
