Recap: Arcadia Hornets vs. Lincoln Prep Panthers
The Arcadia Hornets were the 58-46 winner over the Lincoln Prep Panthers when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Arcadia fell 66-55 to the Panthers on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Lincoln Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Amarjae Young out in front who scored 17 points along with six steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Spann, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
Arcadia now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Lincoln Prep, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.
Arcadia will head out on the road to square off against the Golden Tornado at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Haynesville will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Lincoln Prep will take on the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ouachita Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 301st, while the Panthers are ranked 128th).
