West Canada Valley is 8-1 against Waterville since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Nighthawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians at 4:30 p.m. West Canada Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

West Canada Valley is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against Poland on Monday. The Nighthawks were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Tornadoes. The victory continues a trend for the Nighthawks in their matchups with the Tornadoes: they've now won five in a row.

West Canada Valley got a massive performance out of David Valasek, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Valasek also put up a hit, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Lincoln King, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Waterville hadn't done well against Dolgeville recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Indians walked away with a 9-4 win over the Blue Devils. The Indians' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory got Waterville back to even at 2-2. As for West Canada Valley, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

West Canada Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Waterville in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, sneaking past 9-8. Will the Nighthawks repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
