Nebraska high school football: Week 4 schedule, scores

Weekend slate headlined by No. 5 Millard South's trip to No. 12 Gretna.

This week's Nebraska high school football schedule is headlined by No. 5 Millard South (Omaha) traveling to No. 12 Gretna on Friday evening.

Relying on the arm of Jett Thomalla and the legs of Nolan Feller last weekend, Millard South piled up 653 offensive yards and eight touchdowns in a 56-19 win over Millard North (Omaha), completing the sweep of Millard schools.

Millard South (3-0) upended Millard West (Omaha) 28-27 last month.

Gretna (3-0), meanwhile, edged Creighton Prep (Omaha) 27-24 last weekend to set up the battle of unbeatens.

Two other contests that feature top 25 programs going head-to-head are on this week's slate. No. 24 Douglas County West (Valley) risks its perfect 3-0 record when it hits the road to battle No. 2 Boone Central (Albion), who is 3-0 as well.

No. 7 Pierce (2-1) goes for its third straight win when it faces No. 21 Roncalli Catholic (Omaha), who hopes to improve to 4-0.
