Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Christian Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when St. Joseph Christian took on Polo on Tuesday. The St. Joseph Christian Lions fell 62-49 to the Polo Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 47-36 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2019.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Joseph Christian and nudges their season record down to 11-9. As for Polo, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

St. Joseph Christian will host North Platte at 8:00 p.m. on February 4th. North Platte has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Polo, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-42 defeat against Mid-Buchanan on the 28th.
