After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Milton, Baraboo was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Oregon Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

The victory didn't come easy: Oregon scored at least 23 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 21-25, 26-24, 25-23.

Sabrina Hartmann paced Baraboo's offense, picking up 18 kills. Hartmann got some help from Presley Zimmerman and her 36 assists. Brinley Kaufman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Loss or not, Oregon got some senior leadership from Alexis Fields and Devin Howard. Fields had 20 digs and two aces, while Howard had 11 digs and one assist.

Baraboo's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 14-18. As for Oregon, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-19.

Coming up, Baraboo will take on DeForest at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Oregon, they will square off against Reedsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
