After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hooker, Guymon was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Marshall Bears a 15-0 shutout. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

Andres Ozaeta made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Guymon's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-2 (and 3-13 when he doesn't).
