Basketball Game Preview: Summit Preparatory Huskies vs. Pacific Bay Christian Eagles

Summit Preparatory is 0-10 against Pacific Bay Christian since February of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Summit Preparatory Huskies will take on the Pacific Bay Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Summit Preparatory is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game last Tuesday. They took a blow against Mid-Peninsula, falling 72-45. One positive for the Huskies, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Pacific Bay Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Design Tech. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Pacific Bay Christian's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Summit Preparatory, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Summit Preparatory was dealt a bruising 65-27 loss at the hands of Pacific Bay Christian in their previous matchup back in January. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Summit Preparatory was down 40-10.
