Softball Recap: Hopkins County Central Takes a Loss

Hopkins County Central fell victim to Webster County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 15-0. The Storm haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Hopkins County Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-20-1. As for Webster County, their win bumped their record up to 9-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hopkins County Central will face off against Logan County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Webster County, they will venture away from home to square off against Caldwell County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
