Softball Recap: Napoleon Triumphs

Napoleon posted their closest victory since April 21st on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Ross Little Giants. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Little Giants recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kendall Horner (Jr) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Napoleon's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Faith Rubinstein (Jr), who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Napoleon's victory bumped their record up to 11-15-1. As for Ross, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14.

Napoleon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ross, they will challenge Northview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
