Soccer Recap: Weequahic Gets the Win

After low-scoring totals in their previous four matchup, Weequahic brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Everything went their way against Golda Och Academy on Thursday as they made off with an 8-1 victory. Considering Weequahic's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Weequahic's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Golda Och Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Weequahic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Golda Och Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wood-Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on the 20th.
