Volleyball Recap: The Gregory School Beats Lourdes Catholic for Their Fourth Straight Win

The Gregory School had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lourdes Catholic Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While The Gregory School won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

Emerson Myers paced The Gregory School's offense, picking up seven kills. Myers got some help from Lauren Horowitz and her 20 assists. Alexie Danna controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

The Gregory School's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Lourdes Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. The Gregory School will take on rival San Simon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lourdes Catholic is set to face off against their familiar foe Patagonia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
