Softball Recap: Greenup County Takes Down Ranked Cabell Midland

Greenup County is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Cabell Midland. The Musketeers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Knights 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Musketeers.

Greenup County's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Cabell Midland, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-3.
