If Andress wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played DeSoto, they should've done a better job of containing Tra'Davien Young. DeSoto blew past Andress, posting an 81-50 victory for which the team can thank Young, who shot 63% from the field en route to 30 points and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of DeSoto's points.

DeSoto's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Andress, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3.

Coming up, DeSoto will be taking part in a tournament against Kingdom Collegiate Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Andress, they will take on Lincoln in a tournament on Thursday.
