Softball Recap: Natrona County Takes a Loss

If Natrona County was riding high fresh off their 23-9 takedown of Worland back in April, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell just short of the Thunder Basin Bolts by a score of 7-5 on Monday. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Natrona County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Thunder Basin, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 18-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bolts beat Natrona County by a score of 11-8 later that day.
