Leon Varon Game Report: vs Evergreen Lutheran

Sadly, Leon Varon posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Northwest Yeshiva over Evergreen Lutheran on Tuesday. Varon shot 5-for-9 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 boards. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 8.1 rebounds per game. Those 15 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Varon and Northwest Yeshiva will head out on the road to face off against Muckleshoot Tribal at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Varon's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Northwest Yeshiva's six-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Varon and Northwest Yeshiva surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
