With a playoff win on the line, Shekinah Christian rose to the challenge on Thursday. They came out on top against the Madison Christian Eagles by a score of 3-1. The win was familiar territory for the Flames, who have now won 11 matches in a row.

Shekinah Christian was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 16-25, 25-16, 25-22.

Marly Johnson paced Shekinah Christian's offense, picking up 24 kills. Johnson got some help from Eleyna Beachy and her 45 assists. Beachy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Shekinah Christian's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Madison Christian, they moved to 21-5 with that loss, which also ended their six-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Shekinah Christian will face off against Notre Dame at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
