Summit Shasta took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against The Nueva School by a score of 3-1.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Summit Shasta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maile Moffat, who had 20 digs. That's the most digs Moffat has posted over her last five matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Ysabelle Galvez, who had 16 assists and eight digs.
Meanwhile, Pacific Bay Christian lost 3-0 to Design Tech on Tuesday.
While Pacific Bay Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-19.
Summit Shasta's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8. As for Pacific Bay Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.
Summit Shasta took their victory against Pacific Bay Christian in their previous meeting on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Black Bears since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
