After a string of four wins, Scappoose's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Banks Braves by a score of 55-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Indians have suffered since February 13th.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Banks, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Scappoose will finish 2024 at home by hosting Lake Oswego at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Oswego knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Scappoose likes a good challenge. Banks will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Westside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. Westside Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Banks surely won't give up without a fight.
