Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boyertown). They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Perkiomen Valley Vikings on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bears needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Boyertown's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Perkiomen Valley, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Boyertown will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Pocono Mountain West at 4:00 p.m. The Bears are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Perkiomen Valley, they will welcome Methacton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
