Westview waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Estrella Foothills Wolves 27-7.

When it comes to explaining why Estrella Foothills lost, don't look at Alexza Burroughs. Despite the final result, she picked up 187 receiving yards, and also rushed for 41 yards. Burroughs really caught the secondary sleeping when she pulled down a catch that went for 76 yards.

Westview's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Estrella Foothills, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Westview will face off against rival Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Knights 11.7, the Panthers 6.5) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Estrella Foothills is set to take on their familiar foe Dysart at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
