League recap: Tuileta throws longest pass in league this season for Punahou

Interscholastic League [ILH] I recap October 8, 2013

Larry Tuileta and Kanawai Noa provided fans with a highlight when they connected against St. Louis. The longest such play in Interscholastic League [ILH] I this season, the connection resulted in 74 yards.

Punahou added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Crusaders, 35-32. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.

Punahou's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Buff n' Blue feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tuileta has thrown for 1,447 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Noa has 35 catches for 832 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Kamehameha takes on Damien. As it stands, the Warriors are in second, while the Monarchs are in fifth.

Punahou and St. Louis played the closest game in Interscholastic League [ILH] I this week, with Punahou eventually emerging with a 35-32 victory. Tuileta threw for 298 yards and 5 touchdowns during the win.
