Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lejeune walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Holmes Aces with a sharp 9-0 victory on Thursday. Lejeune might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Holmes with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Scarlett McLean (6), Jaycie Cancienne (2), and Olivia Briick.

The win was the eighth in a row for Lejeune, bringing their record up to 12-2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight contests. As for Holmes, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8-3.

Coming up, Lejeune will challenge Voyager Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Holmes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
