Baseball Game Preview: Alpha Omega Academy Lions vs. Baytown Christian Bulldogs

The Alpha Omega Academy Lions will face off against the Baytown Christian Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Alpha Omega Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Baytown Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Monday, Alpha Omega Academy wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The contest marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Baytown Christian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against Hill Country Christian School of Austin back in February, falling 14-4.

Baytown Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Yeater, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Alpha Omega Academy fell to 9-1-1. As for Baytown Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
