Baseball Recap: First Philadelphia Prep Wins Going Away Against Swenson Arts & Tech

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thomas A. Edison, First Philadelphia Prep was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Swenson Arts & Tech Lion as they made off with a 13-3 victory. Considering First Philadelphia Prep's hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

With the win, First Philadelphia Prep broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Swenson Arts & Tech, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Philadelphia Prep will take on Olney at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Swenson Arts & Tech, they will face off against MAST Charter II at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Voyagers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.11 runs per game on average), something the Lion will no doubt try to take advantage of.
