Basketball Recap: Revere Gets the Win

Revere hadn't done well against Medford recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Revere Patriots came out on top against the Medford Mustangs by a score of 65-55. This was a revenge game for the Patriots: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in December of 2024, they had to take a 71-61 defeat.

Revere is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Medford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Revere will challenge Malden at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing isn't great for Malden: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Revere has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road. As for Medford, they will square off against Lynn Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lynn Classical knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Medford likes a good challenge.
