James Main Game Report: vs New London

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday James Main stepped things up a notch to give Wheeler the 'W'. Main was dialed in as he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He was up against New London and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in April. Main has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Main's effort led Wheeler over New London and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
