Soccer Recap: Plainfield East Takes a Loss

If Plainfield East was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Romeoville on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bengals fell just short of the Lincoln-Way Central Knights by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. Plainfield East were not able to make up for their loss to Lincoln-Way Central from their previous meeting back in August of 2021.

Plainfield East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lincoln-Way Central, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plainfield East will challenge Lincoln-Way East at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they will face off against Andrew at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
