There's no place like home for Holly, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wiley Panthers on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Holly got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 22-25, 27-25, 16-25, 15-9.

Allison Rushton paced Holly's offense, picking up 13 kills. Rushton got some help from Makynna Neugebauer and her 21 assists. Lillian Parker controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Holly's victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for Wiley, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Holly has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Crowley County on the 30th. As for Wiley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Granada on the 26th.
