Basketball Game Preview: Dora Bulldogs vs. Corner Yellow Jackets

Dora has gone 10-0 against Corner recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Dora Bulldogs will get right back to it and host the Corner Yellow Jackets at 5:30 p.m. Dora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season.

Corner is hoping to do what Fultondale couldn't on Monday: put an end to Dora's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Dora slipped by Fultondale 45-44.

Dora's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bella Reese, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Reese is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ja'Laya Harris, who posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Corner faced off against Curry. in a bug-themed battle on Friday. Corner took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Curry. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dora pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.2 points. As for Corner, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Everything came up roses for Dora against Corner in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 45-12 win. Will Dora repeat their success, or does Corner have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
