Softball Preview: Narraguagus Knights vs. Shead Tigers        
        
		
            
 Narraguagus is 10-0 against Shead since May of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Narraguagus Knights will look to defend their home field  against the Shead Tigers at 4:00  p.m. Narraguagus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2  runs per game  this season.
 On Monday, Narraguagus had just enough and edged Jonesport-Beals out  3-1.
 Jonesport-Beals' batters probably weren't too happy with  Natalie Stanwood, who pitched a no hitter  and racked up 15 Ks (she gave up five walks).
 On the hitting side, Narraguagus' victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Autumn Peterson, who  went 1-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Shead was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight  loss. They fell just short of Machias by a score of  11-10.
 Narraguagus pushed their record up to 3-2 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Shead, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Everything went Narraguagus' way against Shead when the teams last played  back in May of 2023 as Narraguagus made off with  a  14-0 victory. Will Narraguagus repeat their success,  or does  Shead have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
