Burke had already won 11 in a row and they went ahead and made it 12 on Saturday. They came out on top against the Centerville Tornadoes by a score of 2-0. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tornadoes, too.

Burke easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16.

Burke found their leader in freshman Izaria Koenig, who had 16 digs and two assists.

Burke's win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Centerville, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-11.

Burke wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Tripp-Delmont/Armour on the 4th. As for Centerville, they will head out on the road to challenge Scotland at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
