Baseball Recap: North Beach Takes a Loss

North Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 26-4 to Pe Ell/Willapa Valley. The Hyaks were not able to make up for their defeat to Pe Ell/Willapa Valley from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

North Beach saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenny Frank, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that Frank has hit this season.

North Beach's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pe Ell/Willapa Valley beat North Beach by a score of 15-0 later that day.
