Notre Dame lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Green, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's contest. The Titans put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 16-5 win on Wednesday. That looming 16-5 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Titans yet this season.

Eugene Collins made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over 6.1 innings pitched. Collins was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs.

In other batting news, Notre Dame got a massive performance out of Ethan Kingrey, who went 4-for-5 with six RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Carter Ingles also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Notre Dame always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Notre Dame and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Green, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.

Coming up, Notre Dame will be playing at home against Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Green, they will venture away from home to challenge South Webster at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
