Blacksher proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Excel Panthers 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since April 15, 2025.

Blacksher's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lagan Rolin, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

The win got Blacksher back to even at 4-4. As for Excel, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Blacksher will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
