Softball Recap: Cromwell Wins Going Away Against Morgan

Cromwell won the last time they faced Morgan and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 17-4 victory. Considering the Panthers have won seven games by more than ten runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Cromwell and bumps their season record up to 8-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Morgan, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, Cromwell and Morgan will both be playing North Branford the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Thunderbirds at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Huskies will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
