Rio Lindo Adventist is 3-0 against Trinity Prep since December of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans will take on the Trinity Prep Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Trinity Prep is hoping to do what Pacific Union College Prep couldn't on Thursday: put an end to Rio Lindo Adventist's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Rio Lindo Adventist was the clear victor by a 59-39 margin over Pacific Union College Prep.

Rio Lindo Adventist found their leader in sophomore Jordan Campbell, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points along with six boards and five steals. With that strong performance, Campbell is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhordany Barcenas, who posted 11 points and five assists.
Rio Lindo Adventist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 16 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Trinity Prep put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 61-28 win over Napa Christian.
Trinity Prep's win came from a few key players Rio Lindo Adventist will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Andrew Harshbarger, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Hill David was another key player, putting up 16 points and five steals.
Trinity Prep pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Rio Lindo Adventist and Trinity Prep are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Rio Lindo Adventist hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 56.5 points per game. However, it's not like Trinity Prep struggles in that department as they've been averaging 57.5 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Rio Lindo Adventist strolled past Trinity Prep in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 41-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rio Lindo Adventist since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
