Basketball Recap: Manzano Monarchs vs. Capital Jaguars
Manzano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 60-50 to the Capital Jaguars. The Monarchs were not able to make up for their loss to the Jaguars from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Several Monarchs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryce Johnson, who posted 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in steals.
