Volleyball Recap: Falls Lake Falls Short Against Ranked New Life Camp

Falls Lake faced New Life Camp in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Firebirds took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Firebirds were not able to get on the board.

Sadye Buffaloe paced Falls Lake's offense, picking up eight kills. Buffaloe got some help from Tess DeZurik and her 11 assists. Addison Buffaloe controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Graceyn Shepard, who had ten digs and six assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Falls Lake fell to 5-1. As for New Life Camp, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.
