Softball Recap: Irondequoit Takes a Loss

Irondequoit lost against Webster Thomas back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Titans, falling 12-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abby Ras made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. Olivia Cooley was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.

Irondequoit's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Webster Thomas, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Irondequoit wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-4 defeat against Brighton on the 7th. As for Webster Thomas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 victory against Hilton on the 7th.
