Football Recap: Wildwood Beats Dunedin for Their 11th Straight Win

With a playoff win on the line, Wildwood rose to the challenge on Monday. They claimed a resounding 37-0 victory over the Dunedin Falcons. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Zoey Brown produced another solid effort throwing for 242 yards and six TDs, while also rushing for 50 yards. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Trinidy Harris also helped with two scores in total.

Wildwood didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Dunedin to a completion percentage of just 44.4%. The team can thank D'Monyae Turner for the heroic effort on defense: she. Wildwood wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 66.7%.

Wildwood's defense didn't let Erionna Henry., get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Ja'niya Corbin and Aubree Solomon, who each picked up one sack apiece.

The win keeps Wildwood at an undefeated 11-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.6 points on average this season. As for Dunedin, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-5.
