Soccer Recap: Southside Takes a Loss

Southside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Howard Eagles, falling 4-1.

Southside's goal came courtesy of Jose Ponce, which was the first he's scored this season.

Southside now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Howard, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Southside will challenge Bear Grass Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Howard has already played their next matchup (against Cary Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
