Cherokee County came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Alexandria Valley Cubs, falling 7-1. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cherokee County fell to 6-1. As for Alexandria, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cherokee County will challenge Spring Garden at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
